JBS is a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), and fully authorised to offer the other three IB programmes.

Our annual tuition fee is divided into two terms, with the first term fees due on or before 31 July 2016. We also encourage parents to submit the second term fees by post-dated cheque that should be dated on or before 1 January 2017. For further details please refer to the table below:

Step One: Please complete an online application form, which can be found on our website www.jbschool.ae. All our applications are digital. Once we are in receipt of your online application, you will receive an automated email sent to the email address you have entered on the application. This email will direct you to step 2.



Step Two: The email from JBS provides a list of required documents and how to schedule an appointment for your child’s assessment. All assessments are made by appointment. Assessment is required for all students applying to JBS, regardless of age, grade, country of origin or school they wish to transfer from.



Please be prepared to submit the following documents at the time of making your assessment appointment:



            a)         4 recent passport sized photos of the child/children



            b)         Copy of child’s/children's birth certificate in English or Arabic (if not in either of these languages, this should be translated and



                        authenticated from your embassy or consulate)



            c)         Copies of child’s/children's passport and residence visa and Emirates ID



            d)         1 copy of each parent/guardian's passport and residence visa and Emirates ID



            e)         Recent medical record and copy of child's/children's vaccination card



            f)          Copy of most recent school report



            g)         Copy of any diagnostic testing or educational assessment (if applicable)



            h)         Any psychological assessments (if applicable)



            i)          Transfer certificate in English or Arabic (if not in either of these languages, this should be translated and authenticated from your



                        embassy or consulate confirming grade completed and exit date from current school).



            j)          A non-refundable application fee of AED 1000 is payable at the time of assessment or at the time of turning in your application documents.



Step Three: The student will sit for assessment administered by the Admission Office and JBS faculty. The admissions office will contact you with the outcome within two to three working days following your assessment. The payment of a registration fee is due within 10 working days after acceptance. A seat cannot be held until the registration payment is received. This registration fee will be adjusted into the first semester fee.



Acceptance to JBS is contingent upon the results of the assessment test, student interview and former school history.
