The innovative Newlands School in Al Warqa’a 1 (near Mirdif) offers children a British-based curriculum at an affordable fee. Children can choose French / Mandarin from Year 3 onwards in addition to learning Arabic and English. We pursue excellence in our school using a wide range of innovative approaches to learning. We believe in strong engagement with children, parents and communities.
We get to know every child and every family. We develop with you an understanding of your child’s signal strengths, using innovative research tools. We try to help remove hindrances and blockages to learning. We follow-up if things don’t work out right the first time.
Our class sizes are smaller so that teachers can get to know the class and give each child more time. Our fees make it possible to study the full English curriculum at an affordable fee. We employ staff for their subject knowledge as well as for their teaching ability.
We encourage competition that helps students to ‘go for it’ and ‘be the best’. We firmly believe that children should have the opportunity to be creative, innovative and enterprising. We think of ourselves as facilitators so they become imaginative, flexible, problem-solving, responsible and resilient.
An application fee of AED 500 must be paid prior to your child’s assessment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Admission Fee (Deposit)
To secure your child’s place for the next academic year 2018/2019, a non-refundable admission fee of 30% of the annual fees is required to be paid within 3 days of the offer. This will be deducted from the first term fees.
The first term’s fees are due prior to the start of the academic year. A student may not start the academic year unless the first term’s fees are paid in full. The second term’s fees will be invoiced at the start of December to ensure that payments can be processed before the start of the term. The third term’s fees will be invoiced in early March, 2018.
If your circumstances change, it is essential that you contact us in advance of the deadline, so that we can support your needs. Tuition fees must be paid to ensure that your child/children can have access to the teaching, resources, facilities and extra-curricular programme.
